strategic advice for pre- and post-tour

Small
groups create a more memorable
experience. Our regular departures travel
with as few as 4 and a maximum of 21,
depending on the tour. For FITs and custom
groups, we can travel with as few as 1 and
as many as 20.
Excellent
guides, who treat each traveler
as a guest in their homeland, give your
travelers a personal connection to the
destination. Natives of the area, they are
well-trained, fun to be with, and speak
American English fluently. They share
their knowledge about the history,
culture, food and wine of the region as
they provide insights into local
customs.
Our
carefully chosen hotels and restaurants
provide luxury, comfort, and
authenticity. We choose lodgings to
reflect the culture of the area, carefully
considering their location. We want our
clients to be able to simply walk out the
hotel door to enjoy their free time. We
dine in restaurants that provide the best
in local cuisine and regional
wines.
Our
tours are paced for our clients
enjoyment with a mix of planned
activities, free time, and impromptu
offerings. We concentrate on small areas
so can spend multiple nights in hotels and
offer more relaxation. Less time is wasted
packing and unpacking.
Our
solo-friendly approach appeals to
those who travel on their own, but enjoy
the company of other experienced
travelers. We don't mark up our single
supplements. We only pass along what the
hotels charge us.
Flexibility
of set tour dates, as well as
FITs, means that you can customize our
tours for people with differing travel
needs. We are happy to work with
you.
Trip
cancellation/interruption insurance
ensures a worry-free journey. We
highly recommend that our clients purchase
trip medical cancellation/interruption
insurance to provide the maximum amount of
protection. If a client needs to cancel
within 60 days for an insured reason
(illness or injury to themselves, their
traveling companion, or immediate family
member as certified by a qualified
physician), he or she will suffer no
financial penalty.
